The theme this week was a card for Grant & Doreen Dixon commemorating their canoeing vacation in the Canadian North. I was reminded of my own ventures in a canoe as a boy scout and one of the songs we sang -- the first stanza is used as the text here. I believe it is a translation of an old French Canadian voyageur song. The canoe and the maple leaf are modified Photo Objects. The water was made in Elements. The font is Casablanca Antique with an added drop shadow.
