I
drive past a half dozen school buses on my way to work,
so this was a natural. I used six or seven solid color
adjustment layers to color various parts of the bus and
its interior, playing with the opacity and blending mode
(mostly 'color') until I got the effect I wanted. I used
the layer masks and high magnification to control where
the color went. I repaired a number of defects on the
bus -- added a hub cap, filled in damaged areas and so
on. The ivy wall is from a stock photo. The asphalt was
made from a layer filled with noise and then the render
lighting effects filter. The font for the fictitious school
district is Arial.
