I
spotted the cherry tomato plant and it reminded me of
my own somewhat neglected backyard "Victory"
garden. I was able to select most of the plant using the
magic wand set to various tolerances, although final clean-up
was something of a bear. To add some depth and complexity,
I duplicated part of the plant, flipped it horizontally
and masked out a few leaves and branches. A drop shadow
from the main plant was also added. I ripened one of the
cherry tomatoes to add a focus and increased the overall
contrast using a levels adjustment layer. The black background
is a carry-over from the first image.
