I decided to colorize the statue, which appears to be one of Aphrodite and Cupid. Having done that, the addition of the halo and clouds seemed a natural heavenly setting. The darkened sky came about as a happy accident in trying to get the halo to stand out. The frame is one of Jodi Frye's layer styles, with an added exterior drop shadow.
