When I learned that the original statue was located in New Orleans, I had a Proustian memory of enjoying beignets at the Café du Monde in the French Quarter some ten years ago and decided to relocate the statue to the café. I colorized the statue of the man, removing the glasses with a combination of the clone and smudge tools while I was at it. The table top, wall and floor were created in Elements. The font for 'Café du Monde' is Arnoeld. The chair, table legs, newspaper & coffee cup are modified Photo Objects.
