This image had it's start when I was working on the egret's beak and was reminded of the Greek myth of Cadmus (and Jason) and the dragon's teeth. Here the beak is pushing up a spring crop. The furrows were created and textured in Elements, then transformed using the perspective tool. Shadows were added to the beak on a separate layer before it was duplicated and 'planted'. The mountains are borrowed from a Hemera Big Box of Art background.
