The egret reminded me of Rachael Carson and this quote. To eliminate some green fringes, the egret was converted to black and white and then re-colored. Feather fringes were recreated using a one-pixel smudge tool. The cattails are modified Photo Objects. The water and 'stucco' background were created in Elements. The font is Bitstream Biblical Script. A drop shadow was added separately to 'float' the text above the background.
