This started with contemplation of the carpenter gothic motif on the porch support brace and it sort of took over from there. The four three-ring burners began as replicas of the motif reduced to its basic form of three circles joined by a smaller central circle. The flames are a combination of the wind filter on colored noise and various blurs and blends. The eyes were selected from a stock black and white photo and inverted.
