The radome reminded me of a soccer ball, so I tried creating one while maintaining the existing colors. I built the hex grid from a custom shape and warped it using the distort>spherize filter. A slight emboss layer style on the grid adds some depth. The format derives from a picture I saw on Flickr's Most Interesting page showing a basketball against a blue sky -- click see the original.
