The leaves in the lower left corner of the picture caught my attention and I decided to use them as the core of a new image. After selecting the leaves I used levels, blur and the paint daubs filter to get the final look. A one-pixel black stroke was applied around the outer edge to help define the leaves. The background is from a set of stock pictures of the Isles de la Madelaine in Quebec. The brushed look was created using a brush from the rough set painting in white on an otherwise black mask. The font is Freehand with an emboss layer style.
