The leaves in the grass and a perfect Fall day here in Chicago led to this image. I copied the brushed steel surface from one of the forms and duplicated it until I had a large surface filled with the pattern. I applied a perspective transform to add some depth. The leaf is a modified Photo Object -- I added a drop shadow and duplicated the leaf to provide a reflection in the brushed steel (the copy was displaced, blurred and the opacity reduced.) A black-to-transparent gradient added some shadow to the upper right corner.
