The top hat triggered an association to the song 'Froggy Went A-Courtin' and I found myself humming the song as I worked on this image. The frog, the top hat and the reeds in the background are adapted from various Hemera photo clip art collections. I may have chosen this particular frog because of his red nose. The lillypad is modeled after one floating in our patio pond.
