I was using Richard Lynch's color balance add-on to adjust the color of the monkey figurine when it occurred to me that it could be used to simulated a brass statue gradually acquiring a patina. The animated GIF is my attempt to simulate a time-lapse sequence of the monkey statuette gradually turning coppery green as the leaves around it go from summer to fall colors. The variations in the brook were created with the Liquify turbulence tool.
