This started off as an experiment in creating a brooch with the pelican motif embossed in gold. The brooch did make it into the final image, but once I had the piece of jewelry, it led to the vanity table, then to the mirror and then to things reflected in the mirror and pictures stuck around the edges. Other than the brooch, the items on the vanity table are all modified Photo Objects. The table, wall and mirror were all made in Elements (the frame is from the One-Click-WOW layer style set). The woman is from a stock photo. The 'snapshots' of Juergen Dirrigl and the pelican are from the Elements Challenge site.
