A straightforward restoration attempt. One could argue that the washed out appearance of the buildings in the distance is part of the charm of the original, but the film grain and developing artifacts make any enlargement messy. By selecting different areas of the picture and using blend modes and selective blur I was able to produce a cleaner if less misty looking shot. Since the water surface was blown out in most areas, a new surface was created and added in.
