This probably has its roots in a visit the previous weekend to the Chicago Art Institute where I saw one too many Salvador Dali paintings. The background is a tinted cloud pattern with a radial blur. The lines representing vibration are circles partly obscured by a mask. The hands were distorted using the liquify filter.
