The juxtaposition of the bird and the egg shape was too much to ignore. I recreated the egg using an elliptical selection filled with a gradient, then added shading to give depth and cut off the top. I selected the bird and filled the selection on a new layer with white and some noise, then warped the wing to a more uplifting stance and added a bevel layer style. The light is a masked lens flare layer.
