I selected the gorilla, desaturated and flipped it horizontally, then duplicated the layer. I applied the cutout filter to the lower layer, then set the blending mode of the upper layer to linear dodge to simulate the 'silver back' coloring of an adult male gorilla. I added a background with render clouds/render lighting effects and a shadow, then applied the chalk and charcoal filter to the whole image.
