The
revelation that these are extinct Tasmanian tigers and
not dingos and Marilyn Lee's wonderful rock drawing image
led to this puzzle. The lichen covered rock is 'Ruskin's
Seat' near Coniston in the English Lake District. The
tiger began as one of the statues -- after selecting,
I put a stroke around the outline, then filled the shadow
areas with a custom pattern I made to try to match the
aboriginal crosshatching. The stick figures are actually
a font -- any Arthur Ransome fans out there? I'll post
the solution later.
