The statue with the lamp reminded me of the Greek philosopher Diogenes, who wandered the city with a lamp looking for an honest man. I selected the statue and cleaned up the tree branches crossing the figure with the clone and smudge tools, then changed the color of his robe. I selected the turret from the house and rebuilt some of the lower sections, then re-colored the crenelations. The windows were selected separately and then lit with a render>light layer. The sky was made with the texture>sprinkles filter masked with render>clouds.
