The shape of the tusks reminded me of palm trees and I realized that the folds on the elephant's trunk mimicked the frond marks on a palm tree trunk. I constructed the tree trunk from a section of the elephant's trunk, duplicated several times, recolored and shaded. The fronds are from a stock picture, as is the reclining man. The sand, sea, sun and sky were all manufactured. The font is Elephant, with an added stroke.
