Some
logo frustrations led me to try the blue glass technique
as I reconstructed Aquamarine's logo. The vanes of the
'fan' were made from a thick line that I distorted using
the Shear filter, then duplicated twice and rotated the
copies in 60 degree increments (Free Transform tool),
then merged all three into a single fan. The triangle
is the Yield sign custom shape. I cut out the center of
the Yield with a circular selection and merged the fan,
then applied a blue gel layer style and a drop shadow.
I couldn't match the font, so I used Ethnocentric and
added an inner stroke and layered a duplicate in white
just under and offset slightly to give it a stamped-in
look.
The brushed steel look is a WOW layer style.
